ASSESSMENT
An assessment can be helpful to determine your child’s strengths and possible areas for improvement. A combination of standardized tests, observation, and parent/caregiver input may be used to better understand your child’s current skills.
REPORT WRITING
A formal report outlining assessment findings and recommendations may be useful or required for certain funding applications. A report can also be a valuable resource for parents, teachers and other professionals to support your child’s speech language program.
GOAL DEVELOPMENT
Setting goals helps to track progress and guide your child’s development. Creating meaningful and achievable targets provides objective milestones and reminders to celebrate achievements along the way.
TREATMENT
Evidence based approaches and individualized programs are tailored to meet the specific needs of your child. Play based intervention in a fun and engaging environment promotes growth of speech language skills. Treatment can take place in your home or in a clinic setting. The frequency depends on your child’s needs and goals.
CONSULTATION
We believe in a team approach to intervention. Your speech language pathologist will collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals involved in your child’s care to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to treatment.
